ADALBERTO ALVAREZ:
Pianist, composer, arranger and director, is unquestionably the Cuban "Sonero". Due to his very personal, unmistakable, harmonic and melodic style, he has won the title of "EL Caballero del Son" ("The Son Gentleman").
Besides, having his title with anthological innovations and contributions to the traditional and contemporary genres, he turns out to be, nowadays, the Cuban sonero whose music has had more versions in the main Latin musical environment over the last 30 years.
Well-known as "The Son Gentleman" and thanks to his contributions as musician, he is the one who have updated Son, to reinsert this dancing genre from Cuba, in the atmosphere and the sonority of Salsa in the last years.
