JAVIER NANDAYAPA TRIO:
The ensemble was formed in March 2000, with musicians of diverse backgrounds, and with a repertory ranging from minimalist and impressioinist, to contemporary and folkloric music. Among the most relevant activities of the group there is a large number of performances in different venues in Mexico, including the International Percussion Festival, the Blas Galindo Hail in Mexico City's National Center for the Arts; the Chihuahua University, Ciudad Juarez, and the Esperanza Iris theater. Moreover, they have successfully interpreted contemporary marimba music, performing as a soloist, in Mexico and abroad, concert music from national and international repertories.
